Lucy! our newest family member.

I gave in. We got us a new little kitten this week. (LOVE KSL) What can I say....the kids love her. I have never had a cat so I'm just a bit stressed, but I will be OK. :) She is 6 weeks old and does NOT like Maggie our dog. I'm sure fun times and stories are to come. Stay tuned...

Painted!

I have been in the process of painting my basement for almost a year now. Finally decided on a color and just did it about 3 weeks ago. Just yesterday I finally hung our family photos that we took a year ago this month. Yeah for me! tah dah!

Pumpkins

So for FHE we finally carved our pumpkins from our garden! This was the first time we did pumpkins and we got 7! Very proud. Unfortunately for Morgan she had the swine flu.

We spent our break down is sunny St George, Hurricane to be exact, at the annual Wilson family reunion. Anson got sick on Sat. so we headed home early but it was so good to see our cousins that we only see about once a year.

Africa

It's a sad and exciting day. My little sister Callie is off to Ghana Africa today for 2 months.

She is in charge of 6 other girls and they are all going to be teaching sign languge at Kibi Middle School for the Deaf. It's a tiny little village in the middle of nowhere. She could not be any more excited. Her family is a bit nervous but she is starting an adventure of a life time and I am excited for her. Good luck Callie and please be safe!!

So I have been hunting now on KSL.com for random furniture. Headboards, book case, dressers and desks. I finally found something that worked with a good price, a little paint, crafty friends that can install bead board and more good friends to donate bead board ....taa daahh!
